ID: 74199219 Shift: Rotating Description: The The Radiology
Technologist obtains radiographic images of the areas of concern
and presents the image to the providers to facilitate
care.Radiology Technologist obtains radiographic images of the
areas of concern and presents the image to the providers to
facilitate care. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS Provide radiographic images
for the radiologist. Assists radiologist with procedures. Provides
education to patients according to their needs. Other duties as
assigned. EDUCATION Graduation from an accredited Radiology
Technologist program required. EXPERIENCE Previous experience in a
hospital setting preferred. CREDENTIALS Must have current, valid
ARRT registration and must be in good standing with the ARRT. Must
have a current, valid Wyoming License as a Radiology Technologist
and be in good standing with the Wyoming Board of Radiologic
Technologist Examiners. Must have current, valid BLS certification
or must obtain within 60 days of hire and must maintain credential
throughout employment with IMH. KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES
Excellent customer service skills, including but not limited to: a
friendly personality, tact, patience, empathy and a helpful,
professional attitude both in person and on the telephone. Ability
to effectively communicate with staff, managers and the general
public verbally and in writing. Demonstrate effective listening
skills. Excellent organization and time management skills and
ability to establish priorities effectively. Possess exceptional
problem solving skills. Ability to work effectively without
immediate supervision. Ability to learn new computer software
programs. Ability to recognize and protect confidential
information. Demonstrate ethical and legal accountability for the
