$90,000 - $100,000 (depending upon experience) Closing Date :
12/31/2025 Benefits : Standard; Full-Time, Exempt employees are

Voluntary Tax-Deferred Annuity Plan (403(b)plan) Duties and
Responsibilities Essential Tasks: Research of private support and
identification of possible individual and foundation funding
sources. Works with corps to prepare and submit proposals and
reports to funders. Participates in multidisciplinary team to
ensure award agreements are executed for programs, accounting.
Assures timely acknowledgement of receipt of contributions and
prepares reports as required. Partnership Building and Community
Affinity: Collaborates with the development team in identifying
potential partners and funding sources and developing protocols for
partnership. Advocates for TSA as a provider of social services to
marginalized members of the community. Research and Cultivation:
Acts as the organization's clearinghouse for grant requests to
ensure no duplication of proposals Occurs. Coordinate grant
requests to foundations serving multiple locations. Monitors
foundation, corporation, federal, state and local websites and
other sources for RFP announcements, Informs staff of relevant
RFP's, Identifies and researches availability of private funds in
response to current program needs. Pro-actively researches new
sources of private revenues. Internal Collaboration and Proposal
Development: Works closely with the various Salvation Army entities
{THQ, DHQ, Area Services, Corps) to ensure community engagement
efforts are streamlined. Proactively shares best practices and
learning with Corps and Service Units to strengthen The Salvation
Army's effectiveness throughout the Intermountain Division.
Monitors RFP Application activities, including planning, document
gathering, internal and external communications and final
submissions. Tracks and reports all foundation grant applications
and awards. Monitors proper and timely compliance with TSA grant
program requirements for Foundation applications. As assigned,
prepares proposals on behalf of corps and units in the division,
Review of proposals and budgets. and final production ensuring
relevant attachments are included. Supports and assists corps and
development team in developing, editing and packaging proposals for
submission to foundations, corporations, individuals, and other
funders. Communications and Reporting Requirements: Maintain a
comprehensive, detailed, continuously updated tracking system
clearly setting forth the status of all current, pending and
potential granting sources, with attention to meeting internal and
external deadlines Manages donor records collaboratively with
development team. Ensures all grant files are updated and accurate.
Education/Experience A bachelor’s degree with five years of
experience in grant writing, corporate relations and/or
development: not-for-profit experience a plus Skills Effective
interpersonal, written and oral communication skills. o
Demonstrated ability to set and achieve or exceed goals and meet
deadlines. Demonstrated ability to work independently in a complex
environment, managing multiple projects and conflicting priorities.
Demonstrated experience with community-based program planning and
implementation. Demonstrated strategic planning, project management
and communication skills. Demonstrated ability to cultivate
relationships with targeted systems and organizations including a
diverse population of community leaders and volunteers.
Demonstrated experience in managing and motivating staff and
volunteers, Demonstrated ability with outcome driven project
management. A communications and management style that exhibits the
principles and values of The Army, as well as fosters team
relationships and effectively communicates information. Advanced
understanding of resource development and communications systems
and programs and the professional knowledge to achieve department

community. Proficiency in Word, Excel, and experience with donor
tracking and/or database software preferred. Driving A minimum age
of 21 (for insurance provision) and possession of a valid in-state
driver’s license is required. An MVR will be processed every year
in accordance with The Salvation Army’s policies. Background Check
Continued employment will be contingent upon a biennial (every two
years) background check that is processed in accordance with The
Salvation Army’s policies. Physical Requirements Ability to
