As a Security Officer - Retail Patrol Driver in Fort Collins, CO , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail/Malls, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal, you will be responsible for monitoring and patrolling retail and mall locations to help create a secure environment for visitors and staff. Your presence will help to deter security-related incidents while you conduct routine patrols and provide excellent customer service. Position Type: Full Time Pay Rate: $21.85 / Hour Job Schedule: DayTimeThur11:00 PM - 07:00 AMFri11:00 PM - 07:00 AMSat11:00 PM - 07:00 AMSun11:00 PM - 07:00 AM What You’ll Do: Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise Responsibilities: Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, and when appropriate, responding to emergency situations. Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner while maintaining professionalism at all times. Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the retail or mall location, including the business interior and surrounding perimeter, to help to deter unauthorized activity. Observe and report any suspicious activity or potential hazards encountered during patrols to the appropriate personnel. Support Allied Universal management and law enforcement authorities in critical situations or investigations as needed. Maintain a visible presence to help to deter potential disturbances and/or criminal activity within the location. Complete required documentation and reports in a timely and accurate manner as directed by site policies and Allied Universal protocols. Remain alert and attentive to the surroundings, adapting to various working environments and conditions as required by the location. What We’re Looking For: Availability across various days and shifts Reliability and ability to adapt to different post assignments A desire to gain broad experience and grow within the company Interest in transitioning into full-time roles when available Minimum Requirements: A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements. CPR and First Aid certification is preferred. Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21 years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
