Overview

Ace Info is seeking a Senior Quality Assurance Integration Test Engineer to join our Agile team in Fort Collins, CO. Remote options are available!

Duties & Responsibilities

• The candidate must have proven experience (7+ years) developing and performing Integration Tests as a Quality Assurance Test Engineer for UI and Server based applications.
• Likewise, the candidate must have a working knowledge of software engineering concepts such as software development standards, quality assurance standards, Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC), interpretation of product requirements, test plan and test case development, testing of software functionality, product installation, performance, load, and usability (508 compliance experience a plus) testing.

  • Extensive experience in manual testing (black and white box) of web applications and backend.
  • Extensive experience with functional, system, regression and integration test of all software components.
  • Proven experience developing test plans and test cases from requirements/user stories.
  • Proven experience with test management tools such as Micro Focus Application Lifecycle Management (ALM) is preferred.
  • Proven experience with automated testing tools such as Micro Focus LoadRunner is preferred.
  • Strong analytical skills and a high level of attention to detail
  • Ability to execute and read complex SQL queries.
  • Ability to analyze a product for accurate Integration test scenarios.
  • Proven experience in test planning, test scheduling, and test evaluation.
  • Experience with Agile methodologies (Scrum and Kanban)
  • Experience with management of defects within a corporate defect tracking system.
  • Experience with Linux, Jboss, Docker/OpenShift and Appian.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to execute and do minor updates in automated tests when required.
  • Ability to multi-task under tight deadlines, work unsupervised and report status.
  • Ability to document QA procedures for the team.
  • Coordination and prioritization of test activities and the ability to work with multiple teams are also critical for the selected candidate. Candidate must have the ability to troubleshoot independently both software and operating system level installation and configuration issues.
  • Ab ility to attain Public Trust clearance
