If you're a Product Compliance Engineer, we have an exciting opportunity for you. This position performs work to ensure that new and existing products are designed to meet safety compliance requirements for all global markets where products are sold. Essential function includes ensuring that product safety requirements are included in the design input and fully covered during verification and validation of the product and manufacturing processes.     • Determine electrical product safety compliance requirements and strategy for industrial control products
    • Participate in the product design process to ensure compliance of printed circuit boards and associated components to applicable standards / directives
    • Create test procedures for product safety requirements. Coordinate testing and certification activities internally and with outside certified laboratories
    • Prepare product descriptions, test reports, and other associated documentation for agency certification files
    • Communicate with experts at agencies regarding technical requirements What We Are Looking For -
      • Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering required or equivalent 4+ years' degree required
      • 2 - 5+ years of combined product safety, regulatory, and/or engineering product development experience
      • Working knowledge of some directives and electrical safety standards (including domestic and international)
      • Ability to operate effectively in a project team environment, to communicate compliance requirements to internal customers
      • Competency in reviewing electrical safety aspects of both mechanical and electrical designs and drawings
      • Competent knowledge of engineering design process (phase/gate type)
