states, and our communities! What does this role look like? As a
Project Engineer Proposal Lead , you will:
--- Serve as avionics capture lead for new business / contract
extension
--- Author and review Basis of Estimates (BOEs)
--- Write Statements of Work (SoW) and develop Technical Proposal
volumes
--- Drive seamless follow on / product maturity path forward,
delivering the best value proposition to our Customer This position
does not support teleworking; the preferred candidate will be
located near our Lockheed Martin Space facility one of the Coolest
places to work: Denver, Colorado , and be expected to work in the
office.
Basic Qualifications:
To be effective, you will need to possess these basic
qualifications:
--- Bachelor's degree in a technical discipline from an accredited
college
--- 12+ years of professional experience;
--- Proposal experience for military programs,
--- Integrated Product Team (IPT) program organization
experience
--- You will need to be a US Citizen, and be able to obtain and
maintain a US DoD SECRET clearance, to support this government
contract, as well as successfully pass a drug and background check,
in order to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified
information.

Desired Skills:
To be effective, ideally, you should also have:
--- Prior FBM experience
--- Missile or space segment design and test experience with one or
more subsystems or fields outside of Systems Engineering
--- Demonstrated behaviors of a systems thinker; selects and
applies appropriate systems thinking skills to solve very
sophisticated problems and implement constructive change
--- Demonstrated ability to work with technical leads to manage
cost, schedule, and technical scope
--- Experience using JIRA or Version 1 or similar tools for project
planning and tracking
--- Experience throughout the engineering lifecycle (system
definition, design, build, test, and operational deployment)
--- Experience in Business Rhythm creation and management

--- Excellent presentation abilities

Ability to Work Remotely: Onsite Full-time: The work associated
with this position will be performed onsite at a designated
Lockheed Martin facility.
Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate
work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our
employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day
work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules
provide employees with additional time away from the office and are
in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: 9x80 every other Friday off
Pay Rate: The annual base salary range for this position in
California and New York (excluding most major metropolitan areas),
Colorado, Hawaii, Illinois, Maryland, Minnesota, Washington or
Washington DC is $122,900 - $216,660. For states not referenced
above, the salary range for this position will reflect the
candidate's final work location. Please note that the salary
information is a general guideline only. Lockheed Martin considers
factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of
the position, candidate's work experience, education/ training, key
skills as well as market and business considerations when extending
an offer.
Benefits offered: Medical, Dental, Vision, Life Insurance,

Spending Accounts, EAP, Education Assistance, Parental Leave, Paid
time off, and Holidays.
(Washington state applicants only) Non-represented full-time
employees: accrue at least 10 hours per month of Paid Time Off
(PTO) to be used for incidental absences and other reasons; receive
at least 90 hours for holidays. Represented full time employees
accrue 6.67 hours of Vacation per month; accrue up to 52 hours of
sick leave annually; receive at least 96 hours for holidays. PTO,
Vacation, sick leave, and holiday hours are prorated based on start
date during the calendar year.
This position is incentive plan eligible.
