and 2nd Shift Avialable Job Description The CNC Operator is
responsible for performing all aspects of production machining
required to produce quality products at an acceptable level. You
will operate and maintain vertical and horizontal CNC lathes and
machining centers, often working from blueprints. The role requires
maintaining tools and gaging provided, ensuring proper care and
maintenance, and producing at a minimum of 80% efficiency. Ensuring
all materials meet or exceed quality requirements and maintaining
machine cleanliness, alongside completing production control charts
daily, are key components of the job. Responsibilities Operate and
maintain vertical and horizontal CNC lathes and machining centers.
Work from blueprints to ensure precision in production. Maintain
tools and gaging, ensuring proper care and maintenance. Produce at
a minimum of 80% efficiency. Ensure all materials meet or exceed
quality requirements. Maintain machine cleanliness and complete
production control charts daily. Support compliance with quality
policies and procedures. Essential Skills 1 year of CNC machining
experience. Proficiency in machining, CNC mill, CNC lathe, and CNC
machine operations. Ability to use precise measuring tools.
Experience in machine setup and troubleshooting. Ability to read
and work from blueprints. Additional Skills & Qualifications 1 year
of CNC Setup and Troubleshooting experience. Job Type & Location
This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Platteville, WI.
Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $18.00 -
$27.50/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may
depend on your job classification and length of employment.
