/ DevOps Manager (Platform and Cloud Delivery) will lead strategy,
automation, and cloud modernization efforts as part of the Platform
Engineering team at Empower. In this exciting role, you will lead a
number of initiatives including containerization, monitoring
solutions within a hybrid cloud infrastructure environment,
facilitating modern DevOps practices, taking a code-oriented
approach, and developing practices and standards to operationalize
a multi-cloud space. Prior leadership experience in automating and
integrating technical solutions is highly desired. This is a
broad-reaching and versatile DevOps-oriented position that focuses
on providing enterprise application infrastructure visibility and
automation of frequent and routine tasks.What you will bring:An
in-depth understanding of monitoring solutions within a hybrid
cloud infrastructure using modern DevOps, code and
automation-oriented approachesDevelop and execute the enterprise
monitoring roadmapLead a team of Engineers that develop, automate,
manage and administer infrastructure and application monitoring
components using DevOps, containerized, and cloud-oriented
approachesResponsible for daily maintenance and patching of all
supported platformsSupport the team in reducing maintenance tasks
through automation and IaaCCollaborate with IT leaders to further
identify and standardize monitoring requirements; implement
automated solutions and create associated documentationLead the
approach, design and implementation of analytics, monitoring,
alerting and reportingManage external relationships and
organizations to provide effective access to monitoring dataLead
with a mindset that inspires proactive support, policy management,
incident management, and resolution of issues related to supported
environments Demonstrate the ability to translate and establish
monitoring requirements from technical and non-technical
informationAbility to lead both onshore and offshore team
membersWhat will set you apart:5+ years of experience working in a
DevOps-oriented systems administrator roleExperience with Open
Source orchestration toolkits (Ansible, Chef, Puppet, Jenkins, Git,
Jira)Experience with monitoring tools (i.E., APM, Infrastructure
metrics, Log/Event aggregation)Experience writing code that
interfaces with various custom APIsExperience with cloud
environments and concepts AWS, Azure, Oracle Cloud, or other
IaaS/SaaS platforms.Prior experience operating in a DevOps context
where 50%+ of the workday includes writing production codeProven
experience writing operationalized production code (Python, PERL,
Ruby, Java, Scala, Groovy, C or other related programming languages
common to DevOps-oriented pipelines); Strong grasp of automation,
error handling, and providing visibility into automated
processesExpertise in navigating Windows and Linux Operating
SystemsDemonstrated understanding of multi-tier web application
architecturesDemonstrated ability to translate and establish
monitoring requirements from technical and non-technical
informationProvide documentation and share knowledge with
OnShore/OffShore teammatesA customer-focused approach, with a track
record of proactive engagementAbility to lead a teamExperience with
developing real-time visibility through custom codingBachelor's
Degree (Computer Science or Information Systems) or equivalent

salary range below describes the minimum to maximum base salary
range for this position in the location listed. Non-sales positions
have the opportunity to participate in a bonus program. Sales
positions are eligible for sales incentives, and in some instances
a bonus plan, whereby total compensation may far exceed base salary
depending on individual performance. Actual compensation offered
may vary from posted hiring range based upon geographic location,
work experience, education, licensure requirements and/or skill
level and will be finalized at the time of offer.Base Salary Range$
