Job Description:
UCHealth is hiring Paramedics and EMTs in Northern Colorado!
Our Paramedic and EMT positions respond to calls for emergency
medical services and provides patient care as directed and/or
determined necessary.
Work Schedule:
Full Time, 80 hours / pay period Flexible
Responsibilities:
Navigates ambulance to patient's location. Provides stabilization
of scene and requests additional assistance as necessary.
Determines nature and extent of illness or injury and patient's
history from available sources. Administers emergency medical care
within scope of practice, including patient stabilization,
monitoring, and resuscitation, from the scene to receiving medical
facility. Contacts medical personnel, reports/records observations,
and follows directives. Maintains equipment, restocks supplies and
cleans ambulance as necessary. Within scope of job, requires
critical thinking skills, decisive judgement and the ability to
work with minimal supervision. Must be able to work in a fast-paced
environment and take appropriate action.
Paramedic Requirements:
Minimum Required Education: HS Diploma or GED. Required
Licensure/Certification: National Certification as determined at
position level. Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) and Basic Life
Support (BLS) Healthcare Provider. Current State Licensure as an
EMT-P. Valid Driver's License.
EMT Requirements:
Minimum Required Education: HS Diploma or GED. Required
Licensure/Certification: National Certification as determined at
position level. Basic Life Support (BLS) Healthcare Provider.
Current State Licensure as an EMT. Valid Driver's License.
Paramedic:
The pay range for this position is: $23.49 - $30.53 / hour. Pay is
dependent on applicant's relevant experience.
An annual bonus may be paid to eligible employees based upon
organizational and individual performance.
EMT:
The pay range for this position is: $19.10 - $24.83 / hour. Pay is
dependent on applicant's relevant experience.
