qualified Labor/Delivery RN in Laramie, Wyoming, 82072 Pay
Information $3,352 per week About The Position Job Title:
Registered Nurse Job Specialty: Pediatric, Nursery, Labor and
Delivery Job Duration: 8 months Shift: Rotating Guaranteed Hours:
36 per week Experience: Minimum of 5 years License: Must have a
current, valid RN license and be in good standing with the Board of
Nursing Certifications: - Current, valid Basic Life Support (BLS)
certification and maintenance throughout employment - Current,
valid Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification (if
performing circulating or recovery room for C-section) - Current,
valid Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certification (if
caring for Pediatrics) - Current, valid Neonatal Resuscitation
Program (NRP) certification and maintenance throughout employment
in the Family Care Unit - Completion of Intermediate Electronic
Fetal Monitoring class within the first year after orientation for
Labor nurses - Completion of Advanced Electronic Fetal Monitoring
Class within three years of completion of labor orientation for
Labor nurses Must-Have: - Excellent customer service skills
including tact, patience, empathy, and professionalism - Effective
verbal and written communication skills with staff, managers, and
the general public - Strong listening skills - Excellent
organization, time management, and priority-setting skills -
Exceptional problem-solving abilities - Ability to work effectively
without immediate supervision - Proficiency in using new computer
software programs - Awareness of and adherence to confidentiality
standards - Ethical and legal accountability Job Description: -
Provide and coordinate patient care through assessment, evaluation,
and treatment with a primary goal of achieving wellness and
recovery. - Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate all aspects of
care for patients within the scope of practice. - Provide education
to patients according to their needs. - Transcribe, utilize, and
implement protocols and physician orders. - Coordinate healthcare
team and delegate appropriate tasks to ancillary personnel. -
Perform other duties as assigned. The role requires the use of EPIC
as the electronic medical record system, and holiday coverage is
