A skilled Registered Nurse with expertise in Operating Room nursing is needed for a contract assignment in the Englewood, CO area. This role focuses on providing exceptional perioperative care within a well-equipped surgical unit, supporting a variety of orthopedic and general surgical procedures. Candidates must hold a current DORA license prior to submission to be considered. Qualifications and Desired Experience: Current RN license with Operating Room specialization Valid DORA license in hand BLS certification required Experience with orthopedic surgeries, including spine, Davinci, Mako robotics, Globus, and laparoscopic procedures is highly preferred Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced team environment Responsibilities: Deliver safe, high-quality nursing care before, during, and after surgeries in four operating rooms and one endoscopy suite Support intraoperative procedures utilizing advanced equipment such as Stryker surgical tools Coordinate with surgical teams, CSTs, and other support staff to optimize patient outcomes Adhere to unit policies and dress code protocols, including wearing provided light blue OR scrubs Document care and patient status using Meditech electronic medical records Location: Position is based at a major hospital campus located in Centennial, CO, featuring a modern first-floor surgical unit. The unit is staffed by a dedicated team consisting of full-time and PRN RNs, certified surgical technologists, EVS, and SPD personnel.
