registered nurse (RN) license and minimum 1 years RN experience

be considered. Provide expert nursing care on a specialized
Progressive Care Unit (PCU) dedicated to cardiac surgery patients
in a dynamic healthcare setting. The unit offers a fast-paced,
high-acuity environment focused on cardiac excellence, where
skilled RNs deliver critical support to patients recovering from
complex cardiac procedures. Responsibilities: - Deliver
comprehensive nursing care to a 20-bed unit with a patient-to-nurse
ratio of 4:1. - Manage advanced cardiac monitoring equipment
including telemetry, chest tubes, pacers, and respiratory support
devices. - Administer and titrate drips such as heparin, diltiazem,
amiodarone, nitro, and others in accordance with protocols. -
Perform unit-specific procedures such as chest tube
placement/removal, pacer wire removal, and 12-lead EKGs. -
Collaborate effectively with a dedicated team comprising RNs and
Patient Care Technicians to maintain optimal patient outcomes. -
Maintain accurate documentation through Meditech EMR system. -
Uphold unit guidelines and participate in ongoing training to
ensure the highest standards of cardiac nursing care.
Qualifications and Desired Experience: - Current RN licensure with
Progressive Care Unit or medical-surgical experience strongly
preferred. - Certification in Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support
(ACLS) required. - Proficiency in managing hemodynamic drips and
complex cardiac patients. - Experience with cardiac monitoring and
respiratory support equipment. - A proactive, energetic team player
who thrives in a challenging, fast-paced environment. Location:This
role is based in Aurora, Colorado, in a vibrant metropolitan area

Details:This is a contract position with day shift hours from 7 AM
