This role focuses on providing exceptional pre and post-operative care to patients undergoing gastrointestinal procedures. This position requires travel between multiple UCHealth facilities, offering diverse experiences in a variety of settings. Assess and monitor patients' conditions before and after gastrointestinal procedures. Ensure the safe administration of medications and monitor reactions. Provide post-operative care and instruction to patients and their families for home care. Document patient care services by charting in patient and department records. Participate in multidisciplinary teams to improve patient care processes and outcomes. Travel between various UCHealth facilities as needed. Advanced knowledge of gastrointestinal nursing care. Proficiency in using medical software and electronic health records. Strong interpersonal and communication skills. Ability to work effectively in a dynamic and changing environment. Medical Insurance Dental Insurance Vision Insurance Life Insurance 401k Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Colorado. BLS/CPR certification required. ACLS certification preferred.
