We are currently seeking a dedicated and skilled Registered Nurse (RN) to join our Catheterization Laboratory team. This role involves working closely with cardiologists to assist in diagnostic and interventional procedures, ensuring patient comfort and safety while supporting the delivery of high-quality care. The ideal candidate will be adept in monitoring patients' physiological statuses, administering medications, and providing post-procedural care. Assist physicians in performing interventional procedures in the Cath Lab. Monitor and record patients' vital signs and heart rhythms during procedures using appropriate technology. Administer intravenous drugs, fluids, and medications as prescribed by the physician and monitor reactions. Prepare patients for procedures including explanation of the process, positioning, and ensuring comfort. Follow strict protocols to ensure a sterile environment and prevent infection. Provide detailed documentation of all procedures and patient responses. Participate in emergency resuscitation efforts when required. Educate patients and their families about post-procedural care and lifestyle adjustments. Proficiency in monitoring equipment used in a Cath Lab Ability to work effectively in stressful and emergency situations Strong interpersonal and communication skills Detail-oriented with a strong emphasis on patient safety Medical Insurance Dental Insurance Vision Insurance Life Insurance 401k Current RN license valid in the state of Colorado BLS Certification ACLS Certification preferred
