Job Description:
UCHealth, a respected leader in healthcare innovation based in
Colorado, is looking for a dedicated and skilled Travel Nurse to
join our Intensive Care Unit (ICU) team for night shifts. This role
is ideal for a compassionate, driven individual who thrives in a
fast-paced environment and is committed to providing the highest
quality of patient-centered care. As a part of our team, you will
work across our various hospital locations, adapting to different
clinical settings while ensuring continuous exceptional care to
critically ill or injured patients. Provide direct and
comprehensive nursing care to critically ill patients in the ICU.
Monitor patient conditions continuously; record observations and
interventions. Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
Collaborate with multidisciplinary healthcare teams to optimize
patient outcomes. Educate patients and their families on illness
and injury management and prevention. Maintain a safe and clean
working environment by complying with procedures, rules, and
regulations. Travel between different UCHealth hospital locations
as required. Advanced knowledge of ICU nursing practices and
principles. Proficiency with electronic healthcare systems. Strong
critical thinking and problem-solving skills. Excellent
communication and interpersonal skills. Medical Insurance Dental
Insurance Vision Insurance Life Insurance 401k Current Registered
Nurse (RN) license valid in the state of Colorado. Basic Life
Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS)
certifications.
