Job Description:
UCHealth is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Registered
Nurse (RN) to join our ICU Regional Float team, providing critical
care during night shifts across multiple facilities. This role is
pivotal in ensuring continuity of care and the highest standards of
healthcare delivery across our networked ICUs. You will handle
complex patient situations and have the opportunity to work within
various intensive care units, adapting quickly to different
clinical environments. Provide direct and comprehensive nursing
care to critically ill patients across multiple ICUs. Assess, plan,
implement, and evaluate patient care in collaboration with the
interdisciplinary healthcare team. Operate and monitor medical
equipment; administer medications and document therapeutic effects.
Maintain a safe and clean working environment by complying with
procedures, rules, and regulations. Support patient care by
providing emotional, technical, and informational support to
patients, friends, and families. Strong clinical skills in a
high-intensity healthcare setting. Excellent interpersonal and
communication skills. Ability to adapt to new environments and
quickly adjust to the dynamics of different ICU settings.
Proficient in using EMR systems and healthcare software. Medical
Insurance Dental Insurance Vision Insurance Life Insurance 401k
Current Registered Nurse license in the state of Colorado. BLS
Certified; ACLS preferred.
