Job Description:
UCHealth is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Registered
Nurse (RN) to join our Bone Marrow Transplant (BMT) and Cellular
Therapies unit during the night shift. This position at UCHealth, a
leading Colorado nonprofit healthcare system, involves providing
specialized care to patients undergoing bone marrow transplants and
novel cellular therapies. As part of our team, you will work in a
patient-centered environment that thrives on innovative care and
professional excellence across multiple hospitals and outpatient
facilities. This role requires commitment to patient care quality,
ongoing collaboration with multidisciplinary health teams, and
adherence to all safety protocols. Provide direct nursing care to
patients undergoing bone marrow transplants and cellular therapies.
Monitor patient status and adjust care plans based on patient needs
and treatment protocols. Administer chemotherapies,
immunotherapies, and other medications as prescribed. Coordinate
with interdisciplinary teams across the healthcare system for
comprehensive patient care. Educate patients and families on
treatment regimens, post-treatment home care and any potential side
effects. Participate in research and clinical trials as
appropriate, and stay updated with the latest in BMT and cellular
therapy practices. Strong clinical skills in oncology and
hematological treatments Proficiency in IV therapy, pain
management, and emergency response Excellent communication and
interpersonal skills Ability to work collaboratively in a
multidisciplinary team Medical Insurance Dental Insurance Vision
Insurance Life Insurance 401k Current RN license in the state of
Colorado BLS/CPR certification OCN or BMTCN certification
preferred
