Job Description:
UCHealth, a leader in healthcare innovation and patient care, is
seeking a dedicated Travel Registered Nurse (RN) for our Medicine
Telemetry Unit. In this position, you will provide critical care to
patients with varying levels of acuity in a fast-paced telemetry
environment. Ideal candidates should be highly organized,
compassionate, and skilled in multitasking under pressure. This
position requires traveling to multiple UCHealth locations across
Colorado, providing a dynamic work environment. Employees benefit

nursing care to patients in a telemetry setting, assessing patient
conditions and implementing appropriate healthcare plans. Monitor
cardiac and other critical vital signs and detect any changes,
enabling timely intervention and treatment. Administer medications,
document patient care services by charting in patient and
department records. Coordinate with healthcare team members to
assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care plans. Maintain
a safe and clean working environment by complying with procedures,
rules, and regulations, and calling for assistance from health care
support personnel when needed. Educate patients and their families
on illness and post-hospital treatment, ensuring the highest levels
of patient engagement and care standards. Proven ability to operate
complex medical machinery including telemetry equipment. Strong
analytical and problem-solving skills, with the capability to make
informed decisions quickly. Excellent interpersonal communication
skills, adept at working both independently and in team settings.
Highly proficient in time management, leadership, and
organizational skills. Medical Insurance Dental Insurance Vision
Insurance Life Insurance 401k Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license
in the state of Colorado. BLS Certification required; ACLS
Certification preferred.
