Job Description:
At UCHealth, we are dedicated to patient-centered care and

seeking a skilled Registered Nurse to join our dynamic team at our
state-of-the-art surgery center. In this role, you will be
responsible for providing high-quality preoperative and
postoperative nursing care to patients undergoing surgical
procedures. You will work closely with surgeons, anesthesiologists,
and other surgical staff to ensure that all patients receive the
best possible care in a safe, supportive environment. Assess
patients' conditions pre- and post-operation and report any changes
to the surgeon. Prepare patients for surgery, including explaining
procedures and aftercare. Administer medications as prescribed and
monitor for reactions or side effects. Record patients’ vital signs
and maintain detailed patient records. Assist in the operating room
as needed and provide care to patients during recovery. Educate
patients and their families on post-surgery care and health
maintenance. Strong clinical skills in a surgical setting Excellent
patient assessment abilities Proficient in following detailed
surgical care protocols Strong communication and interpersonal
skills Ability to work collaboratively in a high-stress, dynamic

Life Insurance 401k Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the
state of Colorado Basic Life Support (BLS) certified Advanced
Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification preferred
