Job Description:

UCHealth, a leader in patient-centered healthcare in Colorado, is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Registered Nurse (RN) to join our Pre/Post Cath Lab team. This position will provide pre- and post-operative nursing care to patients undergoing catheterization procedures, working alongside top-notch medical professionals within modern facilities. The RN will ensure high-quality care tailored to patient needs, securing UCHealth's commitment to excellence in healthcare services. Assess patient condition before and after catheterization, noting any changes and documenting procedures. Administer medications as prescribed and monitor for adverse reactions. Prepare patients physically and emotionally for the catheterization procedure, ensuring informed consent. Monitor patients’ vital signs and maintain detailed records of their recovery and any complications. Educate patients and their families on post-procedure care and any necessary lifestyle adjustments. Collaborate with cardiologists, technicians, and other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care. Strong clinical skills in cardiovascular care. Proficiency in using medical equipment required for catheterization. Ability to communicate effectively with patients, families, and medical staff. Excellent organizational skills and the ability to handle multiple priorities. Medical Insurance Dental Insurance Vision Insurance Life Insurance 401k Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in the State of Colorado. BLS Certification. ACLS Certification preferred.
