UCHealth invites you to join our team as a Travel RN in our Freestanding Emergency Departments (FSED) for night shifts. This role is crucial in maintaining high standards of care and efficiently managing the unique challenges of emergency medical services. Provide comprehensive nursing care in a freestanding emergency department setting. Assess, diagnose, and implement urgent and non-urgent health interventions. Maintain accurate medical records and document patient care services. Collaborate with multidisciplinary team members to enhance patient outcomes. Utilize evidence-based nursing practices and adhere to departmental policies. Educate patients and their families on health preservation and disease prevention. Strong clinical skills in emergency care Ability to adapt quickly to changing situations Proficiency in using medical software for patient documentation Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Capacity to handle stress and make decisions under pressure Medical Insurance Dental Insurance Vision Insurance Life Insurance 401k Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Colorado BLS Certification ACLS Certification PALS Certification preferred
