UCHealth, a leading nonprofit healthcare system based in Colorado, is seeking a skilled Occupational Therapist Traveler to join our dynamic team. This role involves traveling to various UCHealth facilities across the state to provide top-notch occupational therapy services. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will leverage your expertise in therapy to help patients regain or enhance their daily living and work skills. This position offers the opportunity to work in diverse settings and to be part of a dedicated team committed to improving lives and fostering a statewide, connected community of care. Conduct patient assessments and evaluate their needs, abilities, and environment. Develop individualized treatment plans focusing on adaptive and functional skills. Monitor and document patient progress and adjust treatments as necessary. Work collaboratively with other healthcare professionals to provide holistic patient care. Educate patients and their families on home exercises and lifestyle adaptations. Travel to different UCHealth facilities as required, adapting to new environments and teams. Strong interpersonal and communication skills Proficient in using therapeutic equipment and technology Ability to adapt treatment plans based on patient progress Excellent time management and organizational skills Capacity to handle emotional and physical aspects of patient care Flexibility to travel and work in various healthcare settings Medical Insurance Dental Insurance Vision Insurance Life Insurance 401k Valid state Occupational Therapy license NBCOT Certification CPR/BLS Certification
