ATC West Healthcare is seeking a Locum Neuro Hospitalist to provide inpatient neurology and telestroke coverage across multiple hospitals in northern Colorado. This role focuses exclusively on adult inpatient care within a primary stroke center environment, supported by a dedicated stroke team and full hospital staffing. The position includes both onsite inpatient management and telemedicine stroke coverage, with collaborative physician support and no teaching or supervisory responsibilities.

• Start Date: As soon as credentialed (ASAC)
• Coverage Needed: Approximately shifts per month
• Schedule:
  • 24-hour shifts
  • Inpatient and telestroke coverage: 6:00 AM 6:00 PM
  • Night call: 6:00 PM 6:00 AM
• Patient Population: 100% adult inpatient

• Provide inpatient neurology coverage and telestroke services
• Manage approximately 15 patients per day
• Work collaboratively with a team of 5 physicians
• Provide care within a primary stroke center supported by a dedicated stroke team
  
• No supervising or teaching responsibilities required
• Utilize Epic EMR for documentation
• Work within facilities featuring:
  • 45 ICU beds
  • Level 1 3 trauma capabilities
  • 12 rehab beds
  • Onsite lab and imaging services

• Board Certified in Neurology Required
• Active Colorado medical license Highly preferred
  • Active IMLC with Letter of Qualification will be considered
• Stroke telemedicine (telestroke) experience Required
• Must specify both day and night availability at name clear
• Clean malpractice history and background Required
• BLS certification Required prior to start
• COVID-19 vaccination Required
• Self-Query NPDB report dated within 30 days Required at presentation
