Opportunity:

Physician - Gastroenterology

Job Details:

• Provide 24-hour call coverage from 7:00 AM to 7:00 AM the following morning
• 
  
• Work 5-7 days per month with ongoing coverage into 2025
• 
  
• Inpatient setting at Level 1 Trauma facility
• 
  
• Perform scoping, ERCP, EUS, endoscopy procedures
• 
  
• Manage GI bleeds and evaluate GI problems
• 
  
• Function as consult service - GI does not admit patients
• 
  
• See 8-10 new patients and follow-ups daily
• 
  
• Perform 5-8 scopes per day
• 
  
• Treat adult, geriatric, and adolescent patient populations
• 
  
• Work with 24/7 intensivists and hospitalists on site
• 
  
• Must be board certified in Gastroenterology with fellowship training
• 
  
• ERCP and EUS experience required
• 
  
• Active Colorado license or IMLC required
• 
  
• Active DEA required
• 
  
• Must complete EMR modules and virtual training prior to first day
• 
  
• Clean malpractice and background preferred
