St Julien Hotel & Spa is looking for a passionate Hair Stylist to join our talented Salon team in providing services such as haircuts, coloring, and styling while ensuring that all guests have enjoyed a satisfying and relaxing visit to the Spa! Essential Job Functions: Review and complete all opening/closing procedures and daily individual responsibilities. Consult with each guest to gain information about their desired final look and style preferences (length of hair, layers, color, etc.). Perform all services in accordance with current established protocol. Ensure that service is timed properly so that guest can be on time to other Spa/Salon treatment(s). Possess excellent knowledge of hair products in order to make informed and appropriate recommendations to guests. Possesses excellent knowledge of St Julien Hotel & Spa to be able to answer guest inquiries. Clean station and shampoo bowl after each appointment; keep area stocked and prepared for the next stylist and/or service. Perform according to company objectives regarding sales, and work to build customer retention and repeat client requests. Other duties as requested by manager. Qualifications: Must be licensed in the state of Colorado. Minimum 2 years’ experience required. Previous experience working in a luxury spa highly preferred. Experience with, and knowledge of, Wella & Oribe products is a plus! Must have flexible availability and be able to work weekends and holidays . Minimum 2-3 shift availability per week required with at least 1 shift falling on Fri/Sat/Sun.
