Job Description:

Hire Counsel is seeking paralegals with experience in complex litigation and trials for a long-term contract position with a state government agency. You will be assisting with preparation for both a preliminary injunction hearing and a trial that is scheduled to begin at the end of September.Duties:* Organizing case files and maintaining databases* Conducting legal research* Assisting attorneys with trial preparation by organizing exhibits and preparing witnesses* Drafting trial briefs, pleadings, motions, and correspondence* Providing support during preliminary injunction hearing and the trialProject Details:* Start Date: Upon successful completion of the interview process* Duration: 6 months* Location: Denver, CO* Pay Rate: $40/hrQualifications:* Required: Experience with complex litigation and trials* Required: Experience drafting various legal documents, including trial briefs, pleadings and motions* Ability to attend the preliminary injunction hearing and the trial in DenverJob Types: Full-time, ContractPay: $40.00 per hourSchedule:* 8 hour shiftAbility to Commute:* Denver, CO (Required)Work Location: In personby Jobble
