EOI Space is growing quickly and looking for a Senior Contracts
Manager who can help us build a disciplined compliant, and scalable
contractual foundation while actively partnering across all
business groups for commercial and government customers as well as
inventory, equipment, and consulting agreements. Does this sound
like you? What you will do: The Senior Contracts Manager oversees
the preparation, negotiation, acceptance, and management of
contracts and subcontracts. This role will serve as a trusted
advisor to internal teams, proactively shaping contract strategy,
guiding regulatory compliance, and coordinating with outside
counsel where needed. This role is responsible for managing the
review and approval of contractual documents for protection of the
company’s intellectual property and assets, satisfaction of
government specifications and requirements and adherence to company
policy. You will play a key role in helping the company navigate
complex aerospace, export, and remote-sensing regulatory
environments while enabling the business to move quickly and
responsibly. You will work with the functional teams to ensure that
processes and automation are in place to support contract
negotiations and ensure that detailed contractual obligations will
be satisfied. In this role, you will participate in negotiating,
structuring, and administrating contractual documents that
establish business relationships with vendors, customers and
partners. Collaboration and networking with key functions and
employees is necessary. Responsibilities: Own full cycle regulatory
and contract administration with various Government agencies,
domestic and international resellers, engineering partners and
product/consulting vendors Advise teams on regulatory
considerations relevant to EO imagery, satellite operations, and
aerospace (e.g. NOAA CRSRA licensing, ITAR/EAR, FCC) Provide
strategic guidance on contract structure, risk allocation, and deal
terms Support negotiations on difficult, complex, or sensitive
issues with internal and external clients Analyze and advise
program management on legal and business issues and risks and
implement solutions to resolve contract challenges Collaborate with
functions to ensure proper support in proposal preparation, as well
as contract negotiations and administration Ensure that EOI Space’s
Intellectual Property is protected through effective and
appropriate non-disclosure agreements (NDAs) MSA’s and SOW’s that
define ownership, permissible use, confidentiality, and remedies
for infringement of IP protections Design, document and implement
legal review process and automation to ensure timely completion of
legal agreements, proper documentation and filing, workflow
visibility and integration to other EOI business systems Manage and
draft contracts and related documents to assess risk to the company
and recommend mitigation approaches and ensure compliance with
various federal regulations and company policies Lead proposal
preparation, contract negotiation, and contract administration
activities from the proposal through closeout Negotiate third-party
agreements and coordinate with management to achieve favorable
terms and conditions in accordance with company policy Monitor
contractual performance across the enterprise to mitigate
performance, cost, and schedule risks Maintain and update Legal
Policies, Procedures and Guidelines as necessary Collaborate
cross-functionally and establish effective relationships with key
customers Ensure non-disclosure agreements and contract terms and
condition are negotiated within company guidelines Interpret,
apply, and follow government contract acquisition rules, company
policies, and customer specifications Support management of outside
counsel relationships and billing Required Qualifications: 5 years
of relevant contracting experience Legal or related college degree
Demonstrated experience in the aerospace industry, and working with
contracts and requirements from the following: Government (FAR,
DFARs), International Governments, Commercial (domestic and
international) Experienced with cost reimbursable, award fee and
incentive fee contracts Ability to manage multiple contracts at the
same time of moderate to high value and risk level Must have
excellent analytical skills, effective written and oral
communication skills, effective negotiation skills, and strong
interpersonal skills Must be able to identify and resolve complex
contract issues and advise program staff and management of
contractual rights and obligations Excellent communication skills,
computer fluency, agile and effective negotiator with clear
explanations Experience in developing and implementing negotiation
strategies Must be a leader with conflict resolution skills in a
changing environment Bonus points if you have direct experience
with commercial imagery or remote sensing businesses Compensation:
The anticipated compensation for this position is $130,000 -
$150,000 per year, depending on previous experience. Pay ranges are
determined by role, level, location, and alignment with market
data. Individual pay will be determined on a case-by-case basis and
may vary based on the following considerations: interviews and an
assessment of several factors that are unique to each candidate,
job-related skills, relevant education and experience,
certifications, abilities of the candidate and internal equity.
Work Location: This is an onsite role is based in Louisville, CO.
