Benefits you can count on: - Pay Rate: Drivers earn $88,000 - $97,000. - Top Drivers earn $100,000 . - Pay Structure: Hourly, Miles, Stops, and Cases. - Local / regional routes covering Minnesota, Michigan, North Dakota, South Dakota, and Wisconsin. What you'll do as a CDL-A Delivery Driver: - Inspect tractor-trailer for defects pre/post trip and submit DOT inspection report indicating condition. - Inspect bill of lading and store keys for accuracy in off-hour delivery. - Drive tractor-trailer to destination, applying knowledge of commercial driving regulations and skill in maneuvering vehicle on the road and on customer premises. - Maintain driver log (Manual or Peoplenet) according to DOT regulations, documenting delivery receipt, product temperatures and exceptions. - Unload trailer, delivering product into customer premises. - Other duties as assigned. Qualifications you'll bring as a CDL-A Delivery Driver: - At least 21 years of age - Valid Class A commercial driver's license (CDL-A) - At least 1 year or 50,000 verifiable miles of tractor-trailer driving experience - Must meet McLane's MVR and risk rating qualifications - This position requires the ability to read, write, and understand English at a level sufficient to perform job-related tasks effectively and safely. This includes understanding work instructions, safety protocols, and communications essential to the role.
