The Office of Corporate Relations (CR) works to facilitate, strengthen, and manage corporate partnerships with Colorado State University. Working hand-in-hand with CSU's divisions, colleges, units, and centers, CR represents the university to corporate constituents, builds and helps manage mutually beneficial relationships, and promotes CSU's funding priorities to current and potential industry partners. These activities help the university strengthen its academic programs and its position as one of the leading research universities in the world. Position Summary The Assistant Director of Corporate Relations is responsible for assisting with the development and management of corporate relationships. This position will partner with Advancement colleagues, the Office of the Vice President for Research, Career Centers, faculty, college and unit-based leadership, and other on-campus groups to: identify and qualify new prospects for corporate partnerships and funding; cultivate relationships with corporate partners; organize and manage proposal processes to corporations; draft concept papers, case statements, reports, and other materials for corporate engagement; actively solicit industry partners and corporations for private support; manage strategic corporate relationships to advance the mission and goals of CSU The Assistant Director will play a significant role in organizing regular meetings of faculty and staff that actively engage with industry; will be responsible for organizing campus visits for key prospects and existing corporate partners; and manage stewardship activities and reports for key corporations. This position will report to the Executive Director of Corporate and Foundation Relations. The division of University Advancement is currently working 100% remotely, but we anticipate returning to in-person operations for the Fall 2021 semester. At this time, remote work and flexible work arrangements will be available to UA employees, including this position.
