New Construction Quality Assurance Technician Requirements: 5 +
years of New Construction or commercial and residential HVAC
experience - this is not an entry level position HVAC equipment
start up, commissioning and testing per ACCA QI 5 guidelines.
Experience with heat pumps (geothermal experience not required but
preferred) Valid drivers license Quality assurance inspection of
each Fort Collins Heating and Air Conditioning project to ensure
the installation is completed per Company standards. Ability to
educate customers on how to effectively operate their equipment and
best practice regarding service, as well as warranties as they
apply to each project. Ability to perform first year warranty
service on FCHA related installations, as well as performing
repairs as needed to ensure the projects are complete and up to
FCHA standards. Basic computer skills are required as our
technicians communicate using mobile laptop computers, as well the
ability to document all project information and utility rebate
programs on company provided iPad or computer. NATE certification
is preferred. 1+ year of technical school and or ongoing industry
training is required. Offer Energy Savings Agreements to new
customers. Wiliness (sp) to participate in the on-call rotation for
Installation departments first year warranty related calls.
Physical DemandsTo adequately perform the duties of this job the
employee is regularly and routinely required to sit; stand, walk,
stoop, use hands and fingers, and be able to hear, see and talk.
The employee must regularly lift and/or move up to 100 pounds.
Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision
and the ability to adjust focus
