The Neurocognitive Measurement Laboratory (NML; PI Michael
Thomas) within the Colorado State University Department of
Psychology seeks to hire a Postdoctoral Fellow to work on an
NIMH-funded project (R01MH121546; An Adaptive Testing Platform for
Optimizing RDoC Experimental Cognitive Measures). This project
evaluates a novel adaptive testing methodology designed to improve
the psychometric properties of NIMH Research Domain Criteria (RDoC)
cognitive tasks. The study uses cognitive testing, functional
magnetic resonance imaging (fMRI), and adaptive testing methods.
The Postdoctoral Fellow will help with all aspects of daily
research operations including, but not limited to, recruitment,
scheduling, running research participants through cognitive testing
and MRI study protocols, analyzing data, and preparing research
documents and manuscripts. Travel (when permitted) to research
conferences and training will also be supported. The position will
require regular (e.g., 1-2 times per week) travel to the University
of Colorado Anschutz Medical Campus in Denver (approximately 1 hour
south of Fort Collins by car). The start date of the position is
flexible. Ideally, the candidate would begin during the summer or
fall of 2021.
