Job Duty Category Laboratory Activities Duty/Responsibility --- Ensure optimal operation and maintenance of laboratory equipment. --- Communication with PTFI partners and Core Team to facilitate method development and validation for standardized analytical testing and data analysis. --- Communication with PTFI partner laboratories to facilitate transfer and establishment of methods. Percentage Of Time 60 Job Duty Category Research Duty/Responsibility --- Conduct PTFI demonstration projects and disseminate results through presentations and peer reviewed manuscripts. --- Ensure sample preparation, data acquisition and data analysis are completed in a timely and accurate manner to internal and collaborative research projects. These activities contribute to the reputation of our research endeavors, expand the knowledge base of the discipline, and enable our interdisciplinary teams to meet grant reporting and outcome objectives. Percentage Of Time 30 Job Duty Category Supervision and Mentoring Duty/Responsibility Supervise undergraduate student researchers. Provide training and act as a mentor to graduate students. These activities contribute to the professional development of our employees and academic rigor of our student's academic accomplishments.
