Job DescriptionThe University of Wyoming invites diverse

Website Accessibility Support Specialist JOB PURPOSE: As a Website
Accessibility Support Specialist, your number one priority is to
make the University of Wyoming's website is accessible. The main
duty includes but is not limited to creating the Accessibility
violations report for all the CMS sites using our AMP(Accessibility
Management Platform) software and sending them to the respective
site authors. Our team will need to make sure that our 300+ sites
are violation free by recognizing the accessibility errors and
helping the site authors understand and fix them ESSENTIAL DUTIES
AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Creating the accessibility violation and
needs review reports for the CMS site on a Quarterly basis.
Collaborate with departments or site authors to provide guidance
and support in order to resolve the accessibility issue in their
website. Monitoring the accessibility standards of campus websites
Updating the contents of AMP software to match the new sites and
new site authors on a monthly basis. Monitoring the website
accessibility email with questions and queries from the site
authors around the campus Using our CMS software to identify and
fix the violations issues as needed. Making sure the University
websites are WCAG2.0 complaint COMPETENCIES: Knowledge of
accessibility guidelines including WCAG, ADA, Section 503 Knowledge
and some experience with web technologies (HTML/CSS and Web content
management systems). Effective written and oral communication
skills. Demonstrated ability to effectively and independently lead
projects to completion Willingness to learn REMOTE WORK
ELIGIBILITY: This position is eligible for remote work and/or a
flexible work schedule. DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS: Knowledge of
accessibility guidelines including WCAG, ADA, Section 503 Knowledge
and some experience with web technologies (HTML/CSS and Web content
management systems). Effective written and oral communication
skills. Demonstrated ability to effectively and independently lead
