  • Job Description: City of Mitchell is accepting applications for the position of City Administrator. City Administrator reports to the mayor and City Council, oversees all departments and phases of municipal government. Successful candidate must possess good written and verbal communications skills as well as good organizations and interpersonal skills. Minimum qualifications for office include: Bachelor s degree in public administration or related field and minimum of one year experience in government or related filed. These basic requirements may be waived in favor of comparable experience at the sole discretion of Mayor and Council. Salary negotiated based on qualifications and experience.
