Position Summary:
The Accounts Payable Analyst, Shared Services works under limited supervision performing a variety of duties related to the Accounts Payable invoice entry through our automated AP system and related accounting entries for the Lincoln Electric Automation, Inc. (LEA) sites. Following varied and standardized procedures, performs such duties as accounts payable, account reconciliations, preparing reports, etc. This position is responsible for the day-to-day transactions for multiple LEA sites. The individual in this position must have accounting or bookkeeping background to ensure compliance with the accounting practices and corporate policies. Close relationships between the other members of the LEA sites must be developed and maintained.
The major challenges to this position are coordinating the objectives of the company with the sometimes conflicting demands of the customers (both internal and external), and vendors. In addition, the individual in this position must protect the best interests of the company.
Primary Responsibilities:



  • Responsible with processing of supplier invoices primarily through our automated AP system, including entry, review, follow-up and approval.


  • Provide accounts payable general functions including review of supplier statements and error resolution


  • Assists with supplier communications


  • Provide accounting and clerical support to the finance department


  • Monitor and analyze accounting data, transactions, and account reconciliations for LEA


  • Interface with other sites and departments to verify transaction report data and issues.


  • Work in coordination with management to establish, maintain and enforce proper accounting methods, policies and principles in accordance with Lincoln standards including Corporate Policies and Procedures (U.S. GAAP), Corporate Reporting Standards, and Internal Controls (Sarbanes Oxley)

  • Prepare additional reports and performs other related duties as assigned by Shared Services Supervisor, and other local Finance professionals for which shared services are provided.

    Qualifications Required:


    • Bookkeeping or accounting experience


    • Must be computer literate, Microsoft Office products preferred


    • Aptitude to learn quickly


    • Must be self-managed and accountable


    • This role requires exceptional time-management, organization, and follow-up skills


    • Must be able to effectively communicate


    • Excellent problem solving skills required

    • Able to demonstrate leadership and project a positive attitude

      Qualifications Desired:


      • Associates Degree in Accounting or Business Administration (Finance) or equivalent work experience is desired

      • Two years of accounting/bookkeeping experience is desired

          • Physical demands: Work is sedentary. The employee must be able to sit for long periods. There is extensive use of a computer (CRT and keyboard). There is minimal reaching, bending, and lifting in relationship to documents and stored records.

          • Work environment: Normal office environment, must currently have the ability to work remote from home due to current restrictions related to the pandemic.

            Wage Rate: $40,040.00 - $74,360.00
