Job Description:
UCHealth is currently seeking compassionate and highly motivated
newly graduated Registered Nurses to join our Residency program in
Southern Colorado. This specialized program is designed to
transition nurse graduates from students to fully competent,
professional practitioners in an acute care environment. Engage in
our community-focused healthcare system, which spans multiple
hospitals and outpatient facilities, offering a broad spectrum of
services and upholding a commitment to exceptional patient care.
Provide direct and individualized nursing care to patients based on
the application of scientific nursing principles. Document patient
history and symptoms, collaborate with team to deliver high-quality
care. Follow precise directions in an acute care setting for
patient treatment. Participate in developmental workshops, training
sessions, and seminar classes designed to enhance professional
skills and knowledge. Assimilate into the culture of UCHealth,
which is grounded in community health and patient-centered care.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills, Ability to work
effectively in a fast-paced and changing environment, Competency in
electronic health record systems, Critical thinking and
problem-solving abilities. Medical Insurance Dental Insurance
Vision Insurance Life Insurance 401k Must have passed the NCLEX-RN
exam prior to starting the residency program. Current RN license or
eligibility for licensure in the state of Colorado.
