Job Description:
Our Spring 2026 and Summer 2026 internships are currently
filled. Applications are open for Fall 2026 and Spring 2027! Denver
Rescue Mission (parent company of Fort Collins Rescue Mission and
Harvest Farm) is a 501(c)3 non-profit Christian organization
committed to changing lives in the name of Christ by serving people
experiencing homelessness and poverty. Through emergency services,
rehabilitation programs, transitional housing, and community
outreach, we aim to meet both physical and spiritual needs while
helping people achieve lasting transformation. Denver Rescue
Mission internships provide a structured, paid learning experience
designed to support the professional, educational, and spiritual
development of interns. Interns gain hands-on experience within a
dynamic, faith-based nonprofit organization while receiving
supervision, training, and mentorship from experienced staff.
Interns contribute in meaningful ways to the Mission's programs and
services while building practical skills, increasing understanding
of nonprofit operations, and exploring vocational interests in
human services and ministry-related fields. Our internship program
host three cohorts annually (Fall, Spring, and Summer). Internship
responsibilities vary by role, but all internships are
intentionally designed to prioritize learning outcomes, skill
development, and growth throughout the whole internship experience.

college student, graduate school student, recent graduate, or
individual looking to gain experience in a non-profit human
services setting. Passion for serving individuals experiencing
homelessness, addiction, and poverty in alignment with Denver
Rescue Mission's Christian values and statement of faith. Strong
interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to engage
respectfully with diverse populations. Reliable, organized, and
able to manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Willingness to learn and take initiative under supervision from a
site supervisor. Commitment to maintaining confidentiality and
professionalism at all times. Must successfully complete a
background check and drug test prior to the start date. Salary
